About Tony Frakes

Tony Frakes started in the brokerage industry in 1985 with Brink, Hudson and Le Fever where he spent 12 years with the firm and became a Vice President and Director. In 1997 Tony and his group moved to Haywood Securities where he worked until 2000.

Following Haywood, Tony and his partners joined up with a small Boutique firm called Bolder Investment partners where he spent 5 years contributing to its growth. In February 2005 Tony joined the offices of Research Capital Corporation where he works presently.

Tony's strength is on the deal side of the business creating opportunities for his clients, he has contributed to Research Capital Corporation by introducing corporate finance and research people to the Vancouver branch. Tony focuses his time working with listed companies on the TSX helping with their financing, which include mining, Oil and Gas and Biotech companies.

Tony has a geology degree from the University of British Columbia. His interests include Golf, Skiing and Tennis as well as traveling. He is married and lives on the North Shore with his wife and two children.
